Obituary: DECATUR DAILY - July 3, 1949
JONES SERVICE HERE MONDAY-
The body of Frank B. Jones who died in Ft. Myers, Florida, June 30, arrived in Decatur Saturday morning at 4 o'clock and was taken to Brown Funeral Home where it will remain until 5 p.m. Monday, at which time services will be held in Brown's chapel by Rev. Otis Kirby with interment following in City cemetery.
Mr. Jones was in Florida on business, his home being in Lexington, Ky., at the time of his death of a heart attack and was not accompanied at the time by his wife. Mrs. Jones arrived in Decatur Saturday morning to complete final rites.
Survivors include his wife and one son, Richard, who was in Germany at the time of his death but is being flown to this country by Army plane and will arrive in Decatur Monday. One grandson, Frank B. Jones, 2nd, and several nieces and nephews.
Active pallbearers will be chosen from a group of his associates and friends of Lexington who expect to arrive here on Monday by plane for the services.
