Born July 8, 1921, in Seattle, WA, Louise Alexander worked for the War Dept during WW II and later attended the University of Washington, where she met her husband Charles, whom she married at Fort Belvoir, VA. After living in Vaughn, OR, Edmonds, WA, and Shelton, WA, she resided in Kirkland, WA, where she was a longtime active member of the Rose Hill Presbyterian Church, and a member and officer of the Eastside Literacy Council. She also spent many happy years as a teacher's aide and playground supervisor at Mark Twain Elementary School. In her later years, she resided at Avamere Court in Keizer, OR, surrounded by new friends and caring family members.
