Survivors include his wife, Jennie Montanye Whiting of Cooksburg; a son, Ray Whiting of Schenectady; two daughters, Mrs. William Whitbeck of Cooksburg and Mrs. Carl Montanye of Fultonville; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Cummins of Hart, Mich., Mrs. Elizabeth Frick of Paradise, Calif.; six grandchildren, seven greatgrandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Clark funeral home, Central Bridge, with Rev. Lawrence Starr, pastor of the Broome Center Congregational Church, officiating. The funeral home will be open after 7 p.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in Sloansville valley cemetery.
