Obituary
Amos L. Zimmerman, 87, of Midwest City, died March 21, 2008. Amos was born January 27, 1921 in Mt. View, OK, the son of Jessie C. and Johnnie Jones Zimmerman. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dennis R. Zimmerman. Amos served his country during WWII in the US Army. He enjoyed woodworking, making bird houses, farming and retired as an electronics repairman with Tinker Air Force Base. Amos was a member of Ridgecrest Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Sibyl G. Zimmerman daughter, Carol Sumner brother and his wife J.F. and Jerri Zimmerman numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Services will be conducted by Ford Funeral Service at 2pm Monday, March 24th in the Ridgecrest Church of Christ with burial in Gracelawn Cemetery.
