Martha Mae Hawkins was the daughter of William Hawkins and Sarah Jane Price. She married Robert Ronald December 24, 1903 in Kittitas County, Washington. They were the parents of three daughters: Florence, Doris and Eva Ronald. They divorced sometime between 1911 and 1919, when Martha married Walter Monroe Bennett. She and Walter had three children; Merle, Hazel and Walter Bennett Jr.
