Maren Seyller, 82, of Montgomery and formerly of North Aurora, died Friday, December 24, 2004. Maren was born February 17, 1922 in Elburn, IL, the daughter of Carl and Martha (Jensen) Schouw. Maren was united in marriage to Marlowe Seyller on February 3, 1939 in Clinton, IA.
Maren was employed at Furnas Electric as an Inspector for over 20 years, prior to retirement. She was a member of Batavia United Methodist Church, where she was active in Women' Circle and Bible Study. Maren was an avid card player, especially Bridge. She also enjoyed crafts and reading. While raising her family and holding a full-time job, Maren still managed to read a book per day.
She is survived by five sons, Marlowe, Jr. (Janine) of Compton, IL, David (Bonnie) of Crystal Lake, Dennis (Suzanne) of Montgomery, Stephen (Deborah) Southwick, MA, Dale (Carla) of Oswego; and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Sharon Lynn Seyller; and a brother, Alfred Schouw.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 30, 2004 at the Batavia United Methodist Church, 8 North Batavia Ave., Batavia. The family will receive guests from 10:00 AM, until the time of service at the church.
