Henry Terrell Mozeley, Jr. was called Terrell. He and wife Callie Dillard Mozeley moved from Rabun County, GA to Otto, Smithbridge Township, of Macon County, NC. Terrell was in the livestock business and was known for his gift of conversation and story telling. Both were leading singers in religious meetings. Terrell was a member of the Masonic Order.

Following Callie's death in 1905, Terrell moved to Franklin, NC with the family of his daughter, Sallie Mozeley Penland in 1909. He is shown on the 1910 Macon County census at the age of 62, living alone. He lived with Sallie's family for some time until he remarried Betty McCracken of Haywood County, NC in 1913.

Henry Terrell Mozeley, Jr.'s death certificate lists his place of death as Franklin, Macon County, NC at the age of 76 years, 11 months. His profession is listed as trader and his birthplace was Clayton, Ga. The cause of death appears to be "paralysis" which had lasted 3 months.
