Mr. and Mrs. Frank E. Riley returned to their Cherry Lake home last week from accompanying the body of Mrs. Riley's father, Mr. Russell Telford Rose to St. Joseph, Missouri, for burial.

Mr. Rose, age 64, died September 9 in Moody Air Force Base hospital after a lengthy illness. He had undergone surgery at Baptist hospital, Jacksonville, the later part of June and had been ill since that time.

He was born in Blue Springs, Nebraska and had lived at Cherry Lake and in Jacksonville, Florida the past twelve years, and was engaged as a carpenter.

Survivors included his wife, Mrs. Katie Rose, St. Joseph; and four daughters Mrs. Riley of Cherry Lake; Mrs. James Walker and Mrs. Kenneth England of St. Joseph, MO. and Mrs. George Bringus of Kansas City, Mo; a half brother, Cecil Rose, of Reading California; a step sister Mrs. Claude Read of Buhl, Idaho. and thirteen grandchildren. He had many friends in the county who regret his passing.
