Victoria (Vera) Louise Miszler was the 9th child of Englebert Paul Mizler, 1870-1921, and his wife, Mary Ann Rickard, 1851-1912. Vera was born in Swamp Mills, Berlin Township, Wayne Co., PA. Mr. Miszler was born in Alsace, France, and his wife, Mary Rickard was born in the United States. The family lived on the border of France and Germany, their language and ethnic origins were German. Vera Miszler married Ralph E. Leslie/Lassley Oct. 15, 1907, in Binghamton Baptist Church, Binghamton, NY. The Miszler family came to the United States to work at the Dorflinger Glass Cutting Company. They had three children Vernon E., Carl William and Richard E. Leslie.
