Brady David Bailey, 64, died Friday, July 17, 2009, at his residence in the Centerville community. He was born July 2, 1945, in Tennessee to Brady and Dorothy Collins Bailey. He grew up in Charleston and retired from AT&T Lucent after 35 years of service. He was owner of Mantachie Driving Range. He was a member of the Mantachie Church of Christ. He was actively involved with the Mantachie FFA and Golf Team. He served as president of the MS Angus Association and the FFA Alumni. He was an advisor for the MS Junior Angus Association and an officer for the NE Angus Association. He was past-president of the local chapter of CWA.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Minister Larry Lott officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Gwyn Bailey, of Mantachie; two daughters, Sheri Bailey of Williamsport, Md., and Lisa Bailey of Charlotte, N.C.; his mother, Dorothy Kihnl of Batesville; two sisters, Ellen Clark and Susan Reed, both of Batesville; and two brothers, Gerald Bailey of Vicksburg and Ricky Bailey of Phoenix.

He was preceded in death by his father; and a son, Ryder Walton.

Pallbearers will be C. W. Franks, Anthony Franks, Joe Rogers, Gerald Bailey, Mike Clark and Wayne Reed.
