Olive Florette Jones Weyerman, 86, died Nov. 21, 1994
in the Franklin County Nursing Home in Preston, Idaho.
She was born April 14, 1908, in Vernal, Utah, the daughter
of Isaac Morley and Anne Elizabeth Starkie Jones. She was the
ninth child of a family of 11 children.
She married Ferdinand Weyerman, May 27, 1931, in the Manti
LDS Temple. He passed away Oct 28, 1990.
She moved to Weston, Idaho in 1960 from Vernal, Utah. Olive being
an active member of the LDS church served in various organizations
through out her life.
She was a temple worker in the Logan LDS Temple. She and her
husband served an LDS mission to Alberta-Saskathewan Mission in Canada.
She enjoyed writing stories, doing Genealogy, and handiwork of all kinds. She enjoyed singing, and could find a song to fit anything situation.
She is survived by 6 sons, and 1 daughter: Joseph (Glenda) Weyerman,
Vernal, Utah; Carl (Ruby) Weyerman, St. Helens, Oregon; Dora Jane (Don)
Jorgensen, Randlett, Utah; Harold (Connie) Weyerman, Preston, Idaho; Henry (Shirley) Weyerman, Great Falls, Montana; David (Joyce Faye) Weyerman, Middleton, Idaho; Morley (Melody) Weyerman, Boise, Idaho; and a son-in law,
James Reed Brower, Logan, Utah; and 34 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers: Howard Jones, Richfield, Utah, and Albert Jones, St. George, Utah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferdinand Weyerman;
a son, Fred Jones Weyerman, and three daughters, Flora Mae Brower, Ann Elizabeth Baker, and Connie Rae Weyerman; a granddaughter and
two grandsons.
Funeral services were at noon, Saturday, Nov 26, in the Weston
Ward Chapel, with Bishop Jeff Beckstead conducting. Friends
Called from 6-8 p.m., Friday at Webb Funeral Home and from
10:30-11:30 a.m., Saturday at the Church. Burial in the Weston City Cemetery.
