Services for Alvin Christman
Funeral services were held for Alvin Lee Christman on Friday afternoon at 2:30 at the Croxford Mortuary in Great Falls. He passed away on Tuesday morning following an illness of a number of months. Rev. R. R. Thompson of the Knees community church conducted the service. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The songs were by Knees community church men's quartet.
Alvin was born in Great Falls Aug. 9, 1936 and lived in this community all his life. He attended the Knees school and graduated from Great Falls high school in 1954. He enlisted in the navy Nov. 3, 1955, serving at San Diego and Japan until his discharge Sept. 30, 1957. Since then he had been employed at a Great Falls auto firm.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Christman, of this community; two grandmothers, Mrs. Emma Christman, of Missoula, and Mrs. J. F. Fait, of Great Falls; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Everyone greatly mourns the passing of this young man of our community and extends the deepest sympathy to the bereaved in their loss.
