Allen, a mechanic, died July 28, 2008 at his residence. Visitation will be Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home.
He was a Baptist. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War. He was vice president of the Cold Creek Hunting Club.
He is survived by brothers, F. O. Allen Jr. and James E. Allen; sisters, Mary Cutts and Carolyn Holton; 12 nephews, nine nieces, numerous great and great-great nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fountain Oliver Allen Sr. and Ida Mae Howell Allen; brothers, Jesse W. Allen, Henry Allen, and William Franklin Allen; sisters, Irene Collins and Nina Jean Sanders.
Rev. Tommy Allen and Rev. Tony Black will officiate.
Pallbearers are William Allen, David Allen, Bill Allen, Doug Holton, Danny Holton and Darrell Holton.
