JAMES A. DEARDORFF
James A. Deardorff, 76, 463 North Comstock Street, died at 4:30 a.m. Monday in his home.
The decedent was born Jan 27, 1880 in Wabash County to Daniel and Eunice (Long) Deardorff. His marriage Nov. 27, 1907 in Wabash was to Flossie Butterbaugh who survives.
Mr. Deardorff, who had live in Wabash 60 years, attended the Christian church.
Other survivors include two brothers, Gloe and Mace, both of Lafayette; and six sisters, Mrs. Al. Thoennes, Mrs. Fred Farmer, Mrs. Theodore Kolthoff, all of Lafayette, and Mrs. Otis Carter, Mrs. Carl Garner and Mrs. George Niccum, all of Wabash.
The body was taken to the Eddingfield Mortuary where friends may call after 7 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Willard F. Knox officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery.
