DECATUR DAILY - August 24, 1932 (Decatur, Morgan, AL)

MARY LITTLEJOHN, aged 80 years, widow of the late W. W. Littlejohn, passed away Tuesday afternoon at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. R. N. Harris, 601 East Walnut Street, following an illness extending over a period of the past ten months. The news of the passing of the beloved woman was received with genuine regret, particularly among the older residents of the city. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 from the residence, Rev. Gamble, Episcopal rector from Huntsville conducting the service. Interment will follow at the Decatur Cemetery, Brown directing. The deceased is survived by one daughter, Mrs. R. N. Harris and one son, Thomas P. Littlejohn, three nieces and one nephew. Mrs. Littlejohn was a member of one of the pioneer families of the Valley, having been a resident of the Courtland section for many years. Several years ago, Mrs Littlejohn came to Decatur to make her home with Mr. and Mrs. Harris.
