Mabel I. Wagner, 71, of 116 N. Washington Street, Cleona died Wednesday July 22, 2009 in Cedar Haven Nursing Home, Lebanon. She was the wife of George W. Wagner, Sr. with whom she celebrated their 53rd Wedding Anniversary this past June. Born in Campbelltown on April 8, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Esther Carmany Gerlach. She was employed by the Annville Shoulder Strap Factory, Kraft Foods, Palmyra, and Seltzer's Bologna, Palmyra, and was a 1956 graduate of Palmyra High School. Surviving in addition to her husband is a son George W. Wagner, Jr. at home, a daughter Susan I. wife of Fred Miller of Bellehaven, VA, and a brother Leon Gerlach of Dauphin County. Three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St. Annville. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park. Viewing will be held on Friday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cedar Haven Nursing Home, 590 S. Fifth Avenue, Lebanon, PA 17042 or the Alzheimer's Association, 3544 N. Progress Avenue, Ste. 205, Harrisburg, PA 17110. Published in the Lebanon Daily News on July 23, 2007.
