Kaye Tims Cooper, 86, of Newport, AR., died Tuesday, July 21, 2009.
She was born June 12, 1923, at Swifton, AR., the daughter of Charles Lee and Esther (Henley) Tims.
She was manager of Leisure Acres Nursing Home many years until her retirement. Mrs. Cooper was a 1942 graduate of Tuckerman High School, and a member of Southside Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Virgil T Cooper, Sr.
Survivors include her sons, Virgil T. Cooper Jr. and wife Pat of Newport and Michael Tims Cooper and wife Vickie of Fort Worth, Texas; sisters, Jeanne Wallace of Little Rock and Phyllis Holmes of Newport; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were at Jackson's Newport Funeral Home with interment in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
