PEARL - Dora "Pat" Harville Rhodes, 79, died Saturday, June 10, 2006, at Hospice Ministry in Ridgeland. An Alcorn County native and a former resident of Corinth, she was born March 30, 1927, to M.O. and Lola Purl Hardwick. She was a retired supervisor for ITT Telecom of Corinth. Her hobbies included painting and fishing.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at McPeters Funeral Chapel in Corinth with the Rev. Raybon Richardson and Bro. John Hardwick officiating. Burial will be in Little Flock Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Peggy Seawright of Pearl; two sisters, Lottie Smith of Pearl and Syble Thompson of Grenada; four grandchildren, Karen Kreski, Leigh Stewart, Laura Moyer and David Stewart, all of Marietta, Ga.; six great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Rhodes; her parents; and nine brothers and sisters.

Memorials may be made to Little Flock Cemetery Fund, 332 Bruim Ave., Pearl, MS 39208.
