He has gone to live with Jesus
Never will his memory fade,
Sweetest thoughts will ever linger
Around the grave where he is laid.
Not dead to us who loved him,
Not lost, but gone before;
He lives with us in memories and will for evermore.
At rest just over there
In the homeland not far away;
He is waiting for his loved ones,
In the realm of endless day.
