Fingerville, SC - Sunnie Cothran Mahaffey died Wednesday, Sep. 14, 1966 in Spartanburg General Hospital at 6:30 a.m., following a lenghty illness. Daughter of Tom and Fannie Cothran and widow of Dean B. Mahaffey. Funeral services were held Friday, Sep 16, 1966 at Fingerville Baptist Church with interment in the Springhill Memorial Gardens, Chesnee, SC. She was a retired employee of Fingerville Mills where she served for 55 years and a member of Fingerville Baptist Church. Survivors included: four daughters, two sons, four sisters, two brothers and 10 grandchildren. She was 69 years of age at her demise.
