John is the son of Thomas Dixon, Bedford Co., TN, and Edith Isabelle "Eda" Drumright-Dixon, TN, daughter of Robert John Drumright and Carolina "Lina" Cooper. He was the brother of Robert Bradford, Will F., Estella, Lina, Herman and Amanda. Some lived in Dry creek area of Howell Co., MO. John was married to Sarah "Rosie" Sharp on Sep. 15, 1897 in West Plains, Missouri. They were the parents of Albert-1899, Bessie Ethyl(Shipman)-1903, and Iva Viola (Turner)- 1908. Rosie died in March of 1913. John remarried on October 15, 1919 to Mary Ann Elizabeth (Sharp) Drumright, and moved to Perkins, OK. John eventually took his family to California. John's brother Bradford also lived in California, Bakersfield area. May John rest in peace.
