HOCKER, John Joseph "Joe" age 92, of Florida formerly of Eaton, OH, died November 5, 2006. Mr. Hocker was born December 15, 1913. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Dorothy Louise Hocker. Mr. Hocker was a builder/carpenter by trade. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Oakwood and the Optimist Club. Mr. Hocker is survived by 4 children: John Joseph Hocker II of Port Ogden, FL; Patricia K. Kash of Miamisburg, OH; Sharon L. Beach of St. Pete Beach, FL; and Linda D. Plesse of N. San Juan, CA; 10 grandchildren (one deceased), 14 great grandchildren and his companion of 10 years, Helyn Hickman. Funeral service will be held Saturday 10am at Meyer-Boehmer & Reis Funeral Home, 1733 Brown St. Burial Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends Friday 5-8pm at the funeral home. The family requests any donations be made to William Childs Hospice House, 381 Medplex Pkwy. Palm Bay, FL 32905 in "Joe's" honor.
