Rebecca Ann Tipton Goins, 81, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at a local healthcare facility. She was a devoted wife to her husband, who served in the military for 28 years. She was active in many organizations such as, The Azalea Garden Club, DAR, The Red Hat Society and both American Legion and VFW auxiliaries. She was a member of the Protestant religion. Rebecca was a friend to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William Thomas Goins and her parents, Sharon C. and Maurine B. Tipton. Her grandfather was the late Horace Tipton, who founded Fike Funeral Home in 1894.
She is survived by her children, Sharon A. Armstrong of Elgin, SC, William T. Goins II of Marietta, GA, Pamela M. Key of Cleveland and Jeffery E. Goins of Austin, TX; sister, Elizabeth Golden of Cleveland;
