Bobbie was a member of the Joy Class at Inskip Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm, Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Drive, Knoxville, TN. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm. Roberta Ann (Bobbie) Lumbert Miller, of Knoxville, TN, born on January 13, 1935, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family and friends on Saturday, March 14, 2015. She was 80 years old. Member of the Joy Sunday School Class at Inskip Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was always there for family and friends, sharing joy and pain with them. She always had the right words to say to those in pain. She was very loving to all and loved by many and will be deeply missed. Preceded in death by son, Thomas Eugene Miller; parents, Frank and Lilly Belle McNew Lumbert; sisters, Edna Ruth Albright Houser (Lawton), Mossie Ella Albright Perkin, Betty Jo Lumbert Wilson (Woody), Carol Sue Lumbert Hellard; brothers, Steve Albright (Pauline), Albert Lumbert (Zora), Gene Lumbert. Survived by devoted husband of 64 years, William Wade Miller; son, David Michael Miller; daughters, Debra Kay Miller Dearing, and Tiffany Renee Miller Beeler; grandchildren, Misty Miller Sprinkle, Buffy Miller, Thomas Miller (Robin), William (Bill) Miller II (Tara), Melissa Dearing Cole (Bradley), Ken Dearing, Jeddy Dearing, and Kristin Beeler; several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; brother-in-law, Ben Hellard; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Mitchell Lumbert, Ruth Ann Miller Bridges, and Jewell Miller Harrison (Charles); special friends, Lois Frady, Mary Gentry, Andy Anderson, Betty Blankenbeckler and Mike Segers. Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Tuesday, March 17th at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr. with the service immediately following with Rev. Mike Segers officiating. Graveside service will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 18, at Skaggs Monroe Cemetery in Maynardville. Pallbearers will be the grandsons. Condolences may be offered at www.berrylynnhurst.com
