Robert Erskine Ogles
TRINITY -- Funeral for Robert Erskine Ogles, 71, of Trinity will be today at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Mike Nix and David Barker officiating. Burial will be in Dancey's Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Ogles died Friday, March 29, 2002, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born June 4, 1930, to Oscar Ogles and Viola Mize Ogles. He retired as an electrician from BP Amoco after 19 years and was a member of Midway Church of Christ. He served as a master sergeant in the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Couch Ogles; two daughters, Marilyn Moore of Trinity and Becky Edmundson of Decatur; two brothers, Gwin Ogles of Trinity and Bobby Ogles of Athens; one sister, Delorese Smith of Athens; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Zach Moore, Danny Standridge, David Scarbrough, Tim Ogles, Michael Ogles and Gary Ogles.
