Born April 28, 1926 in Halls, Tenn., daughter of the late L.K. and Edith Elizabeth Cousins Benthal, she was in the garment business and a member of the Central Church of Christ.
On April 13, 1957, in Hernando, Miss., she married Charles Alvin Jarboe, who preceded her in death on June 7, 1988. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include one daugher, Tammy Alexander, of Collierville, Tenn.; one son Kendall Jarboe, of Caruthersville Mo.; three brothers Gene Benthal, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Dallas Benthal, of Helena, Ark. and Burvis Benthal, of Columbus, Ohio; one sister, Clarice Miller, of Portland, Ore., and 2 granddaughters.
Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 7, at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home in Caruthersville with Mike McDaniel officiating.
