LUMBER COMPANY OFFICIAL, 29, STRICKEN AT THEATER.
Businessman Was Secretary Treasurer of Firm Founded Here in 1879 by Great-Grandfather and Uncle.

Benjamin B. Foster II, 29, of 7701 Canterbury road, died last night shortly after arriving at St. Mary's hospital. He was stricken with an acute asthmatic attack while attending the Paramount theater, 1114 Main.

He was the assistant secretary of the Foster Lumber company, founded by his great-grandfather, the late John McCullough Foster, and his uncle, Benjamin Foster, in 1879.

Mr. Foster was graduated from Williams college, Williamstown, Mass., in 1948. He was a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He attended the Denver university school of business administration and was graduated with a B. S. degree in 1951. He was a member of the University Club of Kansas City and the Ward Parkway Presbyterian church.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Anne Foster, and one daughter, Leslie Armstrong Foster, both of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John McCullough Foster, 800 West Fifty-third street terrace; a sister, Mrs. William Edward Ruth, 823 West Sixty-second street; a brother, John McCullough Foster, jr., Denver; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Robert G. Armstrong, 608 East Armour boulevard, and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James N. Foster, 828 West Fifty-sixth street.
