She was born in Lexington on March 11, 1911, a daughter of the late Thomas Edward and Mary Tinsley Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Austin Fisher, on Oct. 3, 1981.
In 1984, she was chosen by the Waynesboro Senior Center as Senior Citizen of the year.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. T. E. Ailstock and Mrs. Mary Fitzgerald, both of Waynesboro; four grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Riverview Cemetery conducted by Phillip R. Forehand. The family requests that contributions be made to the Waynesboro First Aid Crew.
The Waynesboro Chapel of Etter Funeral Home handled arrangements.
