Hannah Cecelia "Celia" Johnson, daughter of Frans Emil Johansson (Frank Johnson) and Anna Sophia Johansdotter (Sophia Johnson), was born 11 June 1888 in Custer Township, Mason County, Michigan; she was baptized 26 August 1888 in Emanuel Lutheran Church in Ludington, Mason County, Michigan. About 1897 the family moved from Custer to Lac du Flambeau, Vilas County, Wisconsin, where she married William Joseph Honsowetz (who was born in Ludington, Michigan) on 16 December 1909. They were the parents of seven children: Frank William (1910-1993), Walter Irving (1912-1923), Gerald Conrad (1913-1985), Russel Edward (1914-1996), Maxine Mary (1918-1998), Mildred Elaine (1920-1920), and Cecelia Alicia (1924-1986). "Bill" Honsowetz worked for this brother-in-law, the lumber baron Fred Herrick, and eventually moved to Saint Maries and then Harrison, Idaho, where Cecelia died on 26 June 1924. She was buried in Harrison Cemetery on 28 June 1924.
