Lauren Alderman
Lauren Alderman, 42, of Schenectady, formerly of Stillwater, died suddenly on June 5, 2006 at St. Claire's Hospital. She is the daughter of Betty Rood of Stillwater and the late Walter E. Rood, Sr. Lauren is a graduate of Stillwater High School.
Survivors in addition to her Mother include two daughters; Tanya Alderman of Cohoes and Tiffany Alderman of Colonie. She is also survived by her maternal Grandmother; Grace Greene of Schuylerville. Also, one brother; Walter E. (Butch) Rood Jr. of Stillwater and five sisters; Sharon Baker (Joseph) of Schuylerville, Jeanne (Wayne) Steele of Saratoga Lake, Debra (James) Brown of Mechanicville, Janice Rood of Stillwater, and Alaine Wood of Mechanicville as well as many nieces and nephews.
Lauren was predeceased by her husband Robert Alderman and her son Anthony Risti.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday morning, June 9, 2006, at 9:30 AM at the Assumption/St. Paul's Church, North Main Street in Mechanicville. Calling hours will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Dunn Funeral Homes, Inc. 121 North Hudson Avenue, Stillwater. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery in Mechanicville.
