Cecelia E. Alexander, 97, of Ft. Loudon, died Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at her home with her family by her side. Born, September 26, 1911, in Maple Summit, PA, a daughter of the late Joseph and Elenora Lytle Hall. Cecelia married Mr. Roy Alexander, he preceded her in death in 1988. She was a homemaker throughout her life. She loved to go camping and loved all types of flowers. Surviving are her two grandsons, John R. Nicholson and wife Diane of Ft. Loudon and Roy F. Nicholson of Chambersburg, one granddaughter, Sue Ann Nicholson of Chambersburg, three great granddaughters, Sarah E. Nicholson and Hailey and Heather Helman, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Theresa Lee and Melvin F. Nicholson, five brothers, and three sisters. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 29, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg. The Rev. Reuben Coldsmith will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Chambersburg. Viewing will be Sunday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
