She married 7 February 1793 Jasper was born 20 May 1772, New London, Connecticut, son of John Way and Ann Daniels Way. They were married by the Reverend Elias Fisher at Lempster. She died 4 April 1832.
Their children, all born New Hampshire, were Nathaniel 1793, Lorrin 1796, Betsey, 1807, Erastus 1799 (died 1803), Nancy 1801 (died 1813), and Alanson 1803 (died 1812).
Jasper was a teacher in Lempster in 1791. He lived on the Goshen Road at the foot of Lempster mountain. In 1800, he is of Lempster and is called "Joseph" in th 1810 through 1830 censuses, listed as of Lempster.
Jasper married second Polly Odiorne Sanborn of Unity on 24 December 1832. She was born 4 October 1775, sister to Betsey and widow of Abraham Sanborn. In the 1850 census of Unity she Polly Way, 76, listed as living in residence of Harvey Sanborn, 36, Melinda, 27, Helen 4, at Unity. She died 15 October 1859, age 84, at Unity, New Hampshire.
His will left $25 a year to his wife and the other income from his estate to his three surviving children; the estate to go to their heirs.
