LELAND - Susie Sullivan Corbett, 84, of 1586 Village Road, Leland, died Tuesday, October 19, 2004, at Brunswick Cove Nursing Center.

The funeral will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 22, 2002 at New Hope Presbyterian Church with Pastor Dan Norman officiating. Interme nt will immediately follow in the Church graveyard.

Serving as pallbearers will be Edward Koonce, Jr., and nephews, Ernest Neil Sullivan, Carl Sullivan, Elmore Sullivan, Jr., Jeff Sullivan, and Johnny King.

Ms. Corbett was born October 21, 1919, in Town Creek, daughter of the late Richard Cleve and Clara Sullivan. Through the years, she lived in various locations throughout North Carolina yet always returning home. She was a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Wilmington. Susies passion in life was spreading the word of God.

Survivors include her daughter, Aline Harrell of Boiling Spring Lakes; brother, Kirby Sullivan of Moore Haven, Florida; 3 grandchildren, Tammy Hanson and husband Frank of Boiling Spring Lakes, Edward Koonce, Jr. and wife Patricia of Leland, and Cherise Sprinkle and husband Michael Adam of Leland; 5 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Lee Sullivan and wife Bessie, Frank Sullivan and wife Mary Lou, and Elmore Sullivan, Sr. Following the funeral, the family will gather at Leland.
