Sikeston, MO - Antonio Dewayne Patterson, 16, died July 4, 2007, at his home.
Born May 23, 1991, in Sikeston, son of Juanita Patterson and Tony Neal, he was a ninth-grader in the Sikeston Public Schools and had recently received awards in English and social studies. He was a member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church in Sikeston where he was the church musician and a member of the Youth Ministries.
In addition to his parents, survivors include: his maternal grandmother, with whom he resided, Beatrice Patterson; maternal grandfather, Albert Patterson II; one brother, Demetrius Patterson; two sisters, Takanna Patterson and Larisha Patterson; paternal grandfather, Eugene Neal; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was until time of service at Smith Chapel United Methodist Church. The Rev. Byron Jordan officiated.
Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
