Griffith, jr., of Goodyear Bar, Calif., James R. Griffith of Portland, Oregen, and Mrs. T.C. Arbuckle of Shasta, Calif. A native of Weavervile, Calif., afer thirty nine years, eleven months, three days. The body will be accompanied to Redding, Calif., for funeral and entombment.

Mrs. Desmond Dies At Hospital After A Brief Illness
Mrs. Helen Mary Desmond, well known resident of Vinton, Calif., died Sunday at a Reno hospital following a brief illness. The body will be accompanied to Redding, Calif., for services and entombment, with arrangements in charge of the O'Brien-Rogers company. A native of Weaverville, Calif., aged 39 years, Mrs. Desmond received her education in the California schools, and for twelve years taught in Trinity county. Surviving besides her husband, Ambrose Desmond of Vinton, are her parents, Mr and Mrs Griffith of Weaverville, and two brothers and a sister (as above).
