Christine Barbara Botzek Spencer, 83, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2009, in Hot Springs. She was born July 29, 1925, in Chorzon, Poland, to August Botzek and Hedwig Kolodziej. She was a member of the Village Church of Christ and a member of the Tuesday Ladies' Bible Class. She was a retired medical secretary. Christine moved to Hot Springs Village from Chicago in 1995. She enjoyed reading and her most favorite book was the Bible. She is survived by one son Mark Spencer; one sister Eva Reindal of Germany; nephews Peter Botzek and his wife Carol of Chicago, Illinois,V olker Reindal of Germany. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons Gregory S. Spencer and Walter A. Spencer. A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at the Village Church of Christ, Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. Interment will be in CedarVale Cemetery, Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. The family respectfully request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Village Church of Christ Missionary Fund or to Teen Challenge.
