Lopez in 1967; brother, Elias Valdez in 2007; parents; two grandchildren, Roland Montoya and Marisol Martinez. Angelina had multiple roles at different times. She was a mother and caregiver to her orphan brothers and sisters. Angelina shared beautiful stories with her children, of her years growing up in Colorado. In 1936, she married Aaron Lopez of Colorado in which they began their lives. After WWII they moved to New Mexico where her husband began employment with the Zia Co. and where she raised all her children. Angelina volunteered to raise other children who were orphaned until they were old enough to move on. She took all these children under her wing in spite of the large family she had. She taught briefly in Colorado and also co-authored a medical book. One of her most memorable events was participating on the show "Queen for a Day". She was very active in the Catholic Church and was a member of the Holy Family Society. She was very proud of the plaque that was given to her by Pope John Paul II.
