MARION - Mrs. W. H. Lide, who has been sick for several months, died at 4 o'clock this morning. Mrs. Lide has been a sufferer for almost the entire period of her illness, and the end was not unexpected.
Mrs. Lide leaves a husband and several children. L. D. Lide, Esq., one of the leading attorneys of the Marion bar, being the oldest.
She was a daughter of the late Col. W. W. Durant, and a sister of the Mrs. Virginia Durant Young.
Mr. W. H. Lide, her husband, came originally from Darlington, and is a member of the well known Lide family of Darlington County. The funeral services were held this afternoon at 5 o'clock at the residence.
