Grandpa was a small man, maybe five feet. Mom said he was really mean to them as kids. As my grandpa, he was fun and had a good sense of humor. He lived alone after Granny's death until, at the end, he had to go into a nursing home. He also dipped snuff. He was a VERY devout Church of Christ. He did not believe in letting a woman cut his hair, but he let my Mom and my wife cut it when he was old.
