Mrs. Dollie V Sparks, 68, who lived in Jamestown the past 44 years, died at 1 o'clock Monday afternoon near here. She had been ill seven years and death was due to compications.
Mrs Sparks was born Dec 25, 1877 in Montgomery county and was the daughter of Isaac F and Susan J Meyers Sperry. She was married to Jesse B Sparks near New Ross.
The deceased was a member of the Jamestown Christian church, the church's Missionary Society and the Ladies' Bible class.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Carroll Sparks of Royal Center; a daughter, Miss Lucille Sparks at home; two brothers, Harrison Sperry of Lagoda; a sister, Mrs. Kathryn Ronk of Crawfordsville, and two grandchildren. One child, two brothers and six sisters preceded her in death.
Burial will be in New Ross Cemetery.
