Charles R. Sparks, 66, 1406 Southside Drive, died early Tuesday morning in his home. He was a retired farmer.
He was a member of the New Ross Christian Church and was educated at Ladoga.
Born August 25, 1907, in Montgomery County, he was the son of Charles and Mable Powell Sparks. He was married to Francis L. Stewart August 25, 1940.
Survivors are his wife; two sons, Alvin W. and Robert A. of Terra Haute; a daughter, Mrs. Mable Thorne of Indianapolis; three brothers, Darrell of Ladoga, Adrian of Crawfordsville and William of Lebanon; a sister, Mrs. Catherine Trosper of Lebanon; and five grandchildren.
A sister is deceased.
Burial will be in Indian Creek Hill Cemetery.
