Mrs. Patsy Fain Simmons, 54, of Westfield, passed away on, July 15, 2009. Mrs. Simmons was born in Stokes County on June 21, 1955, to the late George Lee Fain and Mary Margaret Lankford Fain Hensley. Mrs. Simmons was a member of Kingsway Chapel Church of King and was of the Pentecostal Faith. Mrs. Simmons is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, William Leon (Barbara) Mabe of Westfield and Steve Edward (Cassandra "Cassie") Flinchum, Jr. of Westfield; one daughter and son-in-law, Katina Lynn (David) Tilley of Mt. Airy; seven grandchildren, Kayla and Stephanie Dehart, Michelle Utt, Matthew and Madison Gillespie, Isaac Mabe, and Jacob Robertson; one brother and sister-in-law, Lonnie and Jenny Fain of Westfield; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy F. (Gray) Tucker of Lawsonville and Faye (Matthew Moore) of Lawsonville; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Simmons was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Van Simmons, grandchild, Michael Dehart, and brother, Roger Fain.
