Dennis, 59, passed away at Stoughton Hospital. He was born a son of Gilbert & Elsie (Versluis) Vols.
He was united in marriage to Marijo Swanson on Oct. 2, 1999, in Andover, IL. Dennis retired from LP sales at Frontier FS, and then worked for Harlan Labs. He loved fishing and was a devoted Bears fan.
While in Illinois, Dennis was a member of the Sheriff's Auxiliary.
He is survived by his wife, mother, sister, many nieces and nephews; and in-laws.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services were held at Covenant Lutheran Church, Stoughton, with the Rev. Mark Petersen officiating.
