On February 18, 1928, Frank married Sue Emma Souther, daughter of George F. Souther and Sarah Tennie Wagner. He worked with sheet metal, did a bit of farming and worked in textiles. At his passing, he was survived by his widow, three children (Thomas Carrol Tinsley, Robert Earl Tinsley and Frankie Sue Tinsley Ravan), three grandchildren (Michael Douglas Tinsley, Gina Sue Ravan Gasparini and Margaret Elaine Ravan Bailey), and five great-grandchildren (Melissa Dale Tinsley Marlowe, Lacey Michelle Tinsley, Andrew Harrison Gasparini, Emma Caroline Bailey and Elaina Claire Bailey).
