Mr. Eli.Eckenrode died at his home in Germany township last Tuesday afternoon of Bright's disease and a complication of diseases aged 75 years, 10 months and 29 days. He is survived by his widow and the following children: Mrs. Frank Henderson, Philadelphia; Sister Laura, of Boston; Sister Benedicta of El Paso, Texas; Wm., of Chattanooga, Tenn; Mrs. James Spaulding , Charles and Harry, of Germany township, and Miss Annie, at home. He is also survived by four brothers and two sisters. Deceased was well known in this place and vicinity having resided for several years at the home now occupied by Mr. Benj. Eicholtz on Hanover street, and followed the huckstering business, some years ago. Deceased was a first cousin of Mrs. Mary A. Smith, Pitt street.
