Acid Kills Children
Billings--Following the accidental drinking of carbolic acid, the 1 and 3-year-old children of Mr. and Mrs. T. O. Threet died near Pompey's Pillar, 30 miles east of here. The older child found the bottle in a trunk while his mother was in another room and after drinking part of the poison gave the remaining to his baby sister. A physician was summoned but before he could cover the 20 miles the baby was dead. The older child expired shortly after his arrival.
