Mon Talvin Cheves, 82, CWO-4 USAF (Ret.) passed peacefully on December 29, 2003, in Dallas, TX. Born in Sayre, OK, Mon T. was proud of the United States and served it well for 24 years. After his retirement he was General Manager for manufacturing plants in Oklahoma for Indian Nations. He will be best remembered for his astute knowledge of World History, Politics, Mathematics and Electronics.

Mon T. is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dora; son Doug and wife Susan; daughter Bonnie Breazeale and husband Larry; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

The Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday January 1, from 2-3 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. January 2, 2004 at St. Cecelia's Catholic Church, 1809 W. Davis, Dallas, TX 75208. Interment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Education Fund at St. Cecelia's Church.
