Daughter of the late West Roundtree and Sallie Lee Talley Thrasher, she was the widow of Fred Thomas Dodd. She was a member of Barwick United Methodist Church. She was survived by daughters, Patricia Dodd Hastings and Deborah Dodd Squires (James); son, Tommy Dodd (Nancy); grandchildren; and an extended family of relatives and friends. Her funeral was held July 14, 2009, at Barwick United Methodist Church with The Rev. Kirk Bekham and The Rev. Doug Harvey officiating.
