Darrell Edward Odom, 45, of 807 Holly Springs Rd. went to be an angel of our lord on December 8, 2008. He was the son of Charles Edward Odom and Faye Barbare Fitch. He was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church and Sunrise Masonic Lodge #408 in Cowpens. He was formally employed by SEW Eurodrive
He was survived by his wife; Liza McCraw Odom of the home, His father; Charles Edward Odom of Spartanburg His mother; Faye Barbare Fitch and Step-Father Kenneth Fitch of Inman, one brother; Allan Odom of Inman, two sisters; Tracy Torres of Spartanburg and Melissa Weber of Spartanburg, one step-brother; Douglas Fitch of Chesnee, one step-sister Lisa Greene of Shelby, NC, a step-grandfather; Charles Humphries of Chesnee, eleven nieces, seven nephews, one great niece and one great nephew.
Services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, December 12, 2008 at Holly Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Timothy Clark officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 pm Thursday at Stribling Funeral Home. His final resting place will be at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
