A 1934 graduate of Hazelton High School, she was a dietary supervisor at Good Samaritian Hospital for five years. She retired in 1978. She was employed at Harold's bakery department and was a member of Indiana Presbyterian Church.
Born July 4, 1916,in Hazelton, she was the daughter of Frank and Esthel ( Thorne ) Charlton.
Surviving are her former husband, James Westfall of Sarasaota, Fla; a son, James Westfall Jr. of Vincennes; two daughters, Roberta Fitch of Madisonville, Ky, and Suzie Tilley of Brazil; a sister, Patsy McNeece of Vincennes; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A son and granddaughter are deceased.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Gardner Funeral Home. The Rev. John Dunstan will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
